Do I have to host with you to use my website?
Not at all. You own every site we build outright. If you'd rather host elsewhere (Afrihost, Xneelo, your own server), we'll hand over the files and help you move. Most clients stay with us because it's just easier, but we don't lock you in.
Why is your SSL free when other agencies charge for it?
SSL has been free since 2015 thanks to Let's Encrypt, a non-profit certificate authority trusted by every major browser. Some agencies still buy expensive certificates and pass the cost on. We don't, because in 2026 there's no reason to. You get the same green padlock either way.
What happens if I want to cancel hosting?
Just message us. There's no contract on hosting. Your site stays live until the end of the month you've paid for, then comes offline. We give you a copy of all your files and database content on the way out so nothing is lost.
Can I register the domain myself?
Yes, absolutely. Many clients prefer this, register your domain at any registrar (Cloudflare, Domains.co.za, Afrihost), then give us DNS access and we'll do the rest. If you'd rather skip the admin, our domain pricing covers everything end-to-end.
What counts as a "content edit"?
Small text changes (fixing a typo, updating opening hours, new phone number), swapping out an image, adding a single testimonial, or updating a page section. A whole new page or a major redesign is a separate project, but most month-to-month requests fit comfortably in your included minutes.
What if my site gets hacked or breaks?
With daily backups, the worst-case scenario is we restore from yesterday's working version, usually in under an hour. Restoration is included free in our maintenance plans (R 500 once-off for Hosting-Only clients). If the cause is something we did wrong, we always fix it free.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Any time. Just WhatsApp us. Changes apply from the next billing month, no fees, no fuss.
